A Laptop Battery Owner's Guide
Learn how to make your current battery last longer and shop smarter when the time comes to replace it.(asus a53e battery asus a53 battery)
Get reader for sticker shock: laptop batteries are expensive! Prices vary from one model to another, but it's not uncommon for new power packs to sell for $100 or more. I've seen some as high as $150. When you consider that brand-new laptops now sell for as low as $300, that can be a tough pill to swallow.

Whether you're already in the market for a replacement battery or just concerned about the inevitable day when you will be, here are three things you should know:

1. Most laptop batteries start to fail in 1-2 years. This varies depending on your usage, of course, but the average laptop battery is good for around 400 recharges (a.k.a. cycles). After that, it starts to lose its capacity to hold a charge.(asus a53 battery asus k43sv battery)

That's why the battery that once gave you, say, 3-4 hours' worth of runtime now peters out after just 1-2 hours. And after a few years, you might be lucky to get an even an hour.

Sony Vaio power adapter
Alcohol wipe or cotton swab
Rubbing alcohol

Instructions

1. Power the Sony Vaio notebook off. Remove the power adapter by gently pulling the jack from the side of the notebook.
2. Locate the lapotp battery pack on the bottom of the notebook and slide the locking mechanism to the right. While holding the locking mechanism in place with one hand, lift up on the battery pack with your other hand for removal. Release the locking mechanism.
3. Plug the power adapter jack into the power adapter outlet on the side of the Sony Vaio notebook. Ensure the power adapter is plugged into a working power outlet. Turn the notebook on. If the notebook powers on, the power adapter is working properly. If the notebook does not power on, the power adapter is not working properly and should be replaced. A power adapter provides power to the notebook and charges the battery pack. If

Hardware Keyloggers – What Are They?

posted by katewillson 8 months ago under hardware, keylogger, usb, wi-fi

Hardware keyloggers are made from two parts namely an interrupter and storage. When the keystrokes send the signals, then this interrupter comes into act and interrupts those signals. Once interrupted, the signals are kept in the storage, which is the Hardware Keylogger's second part.
